A transcript is a starting point.
A recording tells you what happened. A structured outcome tells your system what to do next. Decide which information your workflow needs to extract: intent, a confirmed time, a requested service, or whether someone needs to follow up.
Keep the schema small.
Begin with the fields that change a business decision. Give each field a clear meaning and define how missing information should be represented. More fields are not automatically more useful, especially when they make review harder.
Connect the outcome.
Use webhooks to send completed-call results to the systems where your team already works. Delivery can be retried, so make your receiver idempotent: a repeated event should not create a second booking, task, or message.
Review, then improve.
Look at the transcript alongside the extracted fields. Use post-call QA to evaluate the criteria you care about, and investigate the calls that need attention. Those observations are the input for the next version of your agent.
